Need to knows

                 Registration forms must be filled out through Foothills Gymnastics and Sonya’s Dance Academy.  There is a $45.00 annual registration with recital fee due at time of registration at Foothills.

Registration

                 Tuition is based on a monthly payment session and must be paid in by the 1st of each month.  Non- payment of tuition by the third week of the session may result in forfeiture of your child’s space in the program. A $15.00 late fee will be applied to your bill if payment is made after the 10th of the month. Payments are to be made to Foothills Gymnastics in the front office. 

Tuition

Girls dress is solid color leotard and tights (conversion tights are needed for modern class), pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes.  Black jazz shoes are needed for the jazz classes, with the option of the  slip on jazz shoes or lace jazz shoes.  

Boy’s dress is a t-shirt and jazz pants, black ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

Preschoolers should also have black elastic through the tap shoe for slip-on purposes.                                                                       

Everyone needs to have hair pulled up, out of the face and off the neck.  No necklaces or bracelets.  Small earrings may be worn but is not recommended.                                                                                     

Dancers should always wear a cover-up to and from class.                                                                   

Absolutely no chewing gum or candy inside the dance area.

No street shoes on the dance floor.

Please remember when students are late, they lose valuable warm-up time as well as creative exploration for the younger dancers.  Please bring your child to class on time with proper dance attire. Older dancers should arrive early to allow them to have warm-up time on their own and class warm-up as well.

                 Open houses will be scheduled the week before winter break. This is limited to immediate family members only. If you have visitors from out of town during the year, just ask.

Holidays

                 The studio will follow the Foothills calendar for holidays.  However, Sonya’s Dance Academy observes a Spring Break as well.  The make-up class  for the scheduled Spring Break is usually the 3^rd Friday of May which is our Finale Rehearsal for our annual recital. 

Costumes

                 A costume deposit of $30.00  is due by November 15^th. The balance for the costume will be due when costumes start arriving.

Holidays/Make-ups/Snow Days

                 The studio will follow the Foothills calendar for holidays. However, Sonya's Dance Academy observes a Spring Break as well. The make-up class for the scheduled Spring Break is usually the 3rd Friday of May which is our Finale Rehearsal for our annual recital. One make-up class will be allowed per month for illness or injury, family tragedies, school or religious trips and inclement weather. Class needs to be scheduled through Sonya's Dance Academy. Tuition will not be adjusted for missed classes. Snow days are usually made-up Spring Break.

Withdrawal from class

                 A 2 week notice must be given to the office in order to terminate enrollment and tuition must be paid for that two week period.
